Description

Rumi. La moto dell'artista (IT)

In the 1950s, alongside already famous brands such as Guzzi or Gilera, numerous manufacturing companies such as Piaggio, MV Agusta and Morini arose in Italy, among which Rumi certainly had a leading place.

From its first appearance, the Bergamo brand stood out for the refinement and quality of its creations. In the 125 category, Rumi reached absolute heights, both in series production, with models such as the 125 Turismo and Sport, the “Gobbetto”, the “Scoiattolo” or the “Junior”, and in competitions, in particular in regularity races .

Riccardo Crippa, promoter of the Rumi Historical Register, retraces the long and complex history of the Bergamo company using over three hundred color and black and white images, technical drawings and a systematic filing of all the models, each accompanied by a detailed technical data sheet.
