This Privacy Policy covers the use of personal information that Motormedia collects when you use this Web Site.
We take your privacy very seriously and we do our utmost to protect our online visitors.
We aim here to set out our policy as clearly as possible, and to ease any concerns you may have.
1) Collection and Use of Information
Motormedia collects personal information from our Web Site visitors on a voluntary basis, when they choose to Register,
or when they open an online shoppping account.
We also automatically record information obtained from your browser, including the pages you request and your IP address.
We use this information in order to continually evaluate the usefulness of our site.
Personal information entered by a visitor will be stored by us but will only be used for our own internal purposes,
and will not be sold or divulged to third parties.
You may request deletion of your details or account at any time by sending an e-mail
to books@motormedia.co.uk. This will not remove the cookie (if any - see below) from your computer - refer to your browser help to do this.
2) Cookies
Motormedia may create and access cookies on your computer.
A "cookie" is a small file which is sent to your browser from a Web Site and stored on your computers hard drive.
Any Web Site can send a cookie to your browser (if your browser is so configured), but your browser only allows a
Web Site to access its own cookies. A Web Site cannot access any of the cookies sent to you by other Web Sites.

Motormedia uses cookie technology to achieve two main aims:
- to "remember" visitors who have Registered, so that they do not have to re-enter their details on a subsequent visit
- to help us evaluate how our Web Site is used and hence improve the content we offer you.
Should you choose to reject our cookie, this simply means you will need to identify yourself each time you wish to contact us via
our Web Site; the functionality of the rest of the our web site will be unaffected.
For our online shop, your visit is controlled by a session cookie which will expire afeter a period of time or if you close your
browser. On revisiting our site, you need to login with your e-mail address and password.
3) Security
Motormedia has undertaken to make all information received from our online visitors as secure as possible against unauthorised access and use.
All information is protected by our security measures, which are periodically reviewed. Your credit card information is taken over a secure
server connection (always ensure your browser displays a padlock icon (or other indication depending on the browser you use before
giving out your Credit Card details!). After collecting your credit card number we encrypt it and delete it after completing your order.
Be aware that E-mail communications are not generally considered to be "secure" on the internet, which means that third parties could potentially
intercept and read or (in extreme cases) tamper with the content of such e-mails. We will do our best to make sure your information on the
internet is secure, but we cannot be held responsible for the actions of "hackers" or other computer criminals.
4) Links to Other Sites
The Motormedia Web Site contains "links" to other sites, and we make every effort to only create links to sites belonging
to companies who share our own high standards. We cannot be responsible, however, for the content of these other sites, and you must
refer to those sites in order to find out about their own security and privacy arrangements.
